Use the following pattern to get off to a good start. This sample meal pattern uses foods commonly found on college campuses.

Breakfast: Bowl of cereal, skim milk, banana, toast with butter

Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, milk, bag of chips and apple

Snack: Bowl of soup

Dinner: Baked chicken breast, baked potato, salad with olive oil and vinegar, broccoli, ice pop

Snack: Yogurt and crackers
